Where it all started

Greenarch Supply Chain Services was set up in 2023 by our Managing Director , A Sierra Leonean based in the UK, who decided to embark on a new chapter in his impressive career path. He founded the company to address a critical market gap in the Supply Chain sector particularly in Sierra Leone.

This venture is underpinned by his process-driven approach, with an unwavering commitment to delivering optimal solutions with the highest level of professionalism. Please see his journey so far below.

Mr Alu Kamara

A Little Bit about me :

Commencing my career at Airbus Group in 2002, I embarked on a journey that has spanned over two decades of dynamic growth and expertise acquisition. As a qualified Aerospace Engineer, I became an integral part of the A380 development program focusing on the wing design in Bristol UK.

Building on this foundation, I transitioned into Manufacturing Engineering in 2005 which provided me with a profound understanding of materials and product manufacturability, a perspective that has been invaluable throughout my career. 

In 2010, I was appointed as the Airbus Cost Saving Procurement Manager where I played a pivotal role in implementation of the Airbus Supplier Strategy in India, Turkey, and Eastern Europe. This strategic move significantly expanded the company’s network of qualified detail parts suppliers, showcasing my adeptness at cultivating robust global partnerships. 

In 2014 I was headhunted into General Electric (GE) Aviation, as a Global Commodity Manager where I managed an annual spend portfolio exceeding 30 million USD. I also spearheaded the development of a new composite supplier base in the UK , Morocco and China, further diversifying and strengthening our global supply chain.

In 2022, I took over the role as a Supply Chain Manager at a leading tech company producing cutting-edge laser, optics and electronics.  My strategic procurement initiatives resulted in substantial cost savings and an impressive 93% on-time delivery within six months, underscoring my relentless drive for positive results.

Embarking on a new chapter in 2023, I founded GreenArch Procurement and Supply Chain Management consultancy in Sierra Leone, addressing a critical market gap. This venture is underpinned by my process-driven approach, with an unwavering commitment to delivering optimal solutions with the highest level of professionalism.

My journey, characterised by professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and a global perspective, stands as a testament to my ability to thrive in dynamic, high-stakes environments. I am self-assured to leverage this rich experience and knowledge driving transformative changes in the world of Supply Chain Management
